What is Price Action, Support & Resistance?
Price action trading reads the chart itself — candles, swings and levels — rather than indicators. Its traders mark where price has turned before and watch how it behaves when it returns there.
Support is a level where buying has stopped declines before; resistance is a level where selling has stopped rallies. Once a level breaks decisively, it often flips role, so old resistance becomes new support.
Many traders also map supply and demand zones — areas where price left quickly with strong candles — and liquidity: clusters of stop orders above highs and below lows that price often sweeps before reversing.

- A level tested many times becomes more likely to break, not less.
- Wait for confirmation (a close beyond the level, or a retest) instead of anticipating a break.
- Engulfing candles and pin bars at key levels are common entry signals.
- Put the stop where the idea is invalid — beyond the level — not at an arbitrary distance.

Start on a higher timeframe, mark clear swing highs and lows where price reacted strongly, and treat them as zones rather than exact lines. Fewer, clearer levels are more useful than many weak ones.
What is a liquidity sweep?
A quick move beyond an obvious high or low that triggers the stop orders resting there, followed by a reversal. Traders watch for it because the stops provide the liquidity for larger players to enter in the opposite direction.
