What is TradingBook?

TradingBook is a social network built for traders. People use it to share market analysis, trade setups and chart breakdowns, to follow traders whose thinking they value, and to join groups and pages about the markets they trade.

What you can do

  • Post your analysis. Write up a trade idea or a market view, or share a chart with your commentary, in any language.
  • Follow traders. Your feed is built from the people, groups and pages you follow. Discover shows what is trending and who is worth following.
  • Discuss. Like, comment and reply. On a trading platform the counter-argument under a post is often as useful as the post.
  • Watch prices. Markets shows live spot prices and candlestick charts for cryptocurrencies.

Groups and pages

A group is a community that its members post in. A public group can be read by anyone; a private group can only be read by its members.

A page is a publisher's channel, such as an analyst desk or an education brand. People follow it, and only the page's own team posts as the page.

Reviewed before it is seen

A new post is checked by a moderator before other people can see it. That is how spam, scams and pump-and-dump promotion are kept out of the feed. Everything on TradingBook has to be about trading or markets.

Markets people talk about

Forex, cryptocurrencies, stocks, indices, commodities and derivatives. Posts are written in many languages, including English, Sinhala, Tamil and Hindi.

What TradingBook is not

TradingBook is not a broker or an exchange. It does not hold money, connect to your trading account or place trades.

Posts are the opinions of the individual traders who wrote them. Nothing on TradingBook is financial advice, and trading carries a real risk of losing money.

Quoting TradingBook

Public posts can be read without an account, and search engines and AI assistants may quote them. When you quote a post, credit the trader who wrote it and link to the post. TradingBook is where it was published, not the source of the opinion.

Members who would rather not be listed by search engines can turn that off in Settings.
